Deliverable (ITILv3):    Something that must be provided to meet a commitment in a Service Level Agreement or a Contract. Deliverable is also used in a more informal way to mean a planned output of any Process.

Deliverable (ITILv2):    An item which must be created as part of a stated requirement. It may be a final product or one on which one or more subsequent deliverables are dependent.
