Change (ITILv3):    [Service Transition] The addition, modification or removal of anything that could have an effect on IT Services. The Scope should include all IT Services, Configuration Items, Process, Documentation, etc.

Change (ITILv2):    Any deliberate action that alters the form, fit or function of Configuration Items (CIs) - typically, an addition, modification, movement or deletion that impacts on the IT Infrastructure.
